Written during a recent Xmas family get-together on the snowy East Coast. As I wrote, it morphed into a warm remembrance of my Dad, and how I now found myself in the role of family patriarch. Hence the title Role Call, as opposed to Roll Call. The tune called 'I'm OK', on my 'Density: Then & Now' album, is a heartfelt tribute to my Mom.
